Message were filled with people running R888's who used to run RA-1's. Not a single person I talked to (at three different tracks) complained about the switch or said they preferred the RA-1's. The characteristics of the R-888's are different from the RA-1's and they had to adjust their style a bit, but overall found them more predictable and grippier in a variety of temperature and moisture conditions.

I ran an E-30 BMW at both Spokane County Raceway and Laguna Seca that was shod with R-888's, the car outgripped my abilities and my instructors had no complaints about the tires when they were piloting me around the tracks.

I also ran my set of R-888's on 3 different Zeds this year from autoX to full 2.5 mile high speed road courses (one day in the pouring rain) and have nothing but positive comments. Hell, I even flogged my mostly stock convertible around the local autoX and finished respectably. Nothing wrong with these tires.

My Zs are hybrid vehicles, they run on gasoline and money

I'm off to wax mine and go for a drive now.

I was more wondering how you set your climate control to 22*
